PT/Seasonal (9:00-1:30 p.m.) for O'Gorman High School
Assemble, prepare and serve food items, and cashier for students and staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with setting up lunch lines
- Assist with supervision of student workers that are working in your area. Report issues to Food Service Site Manager.
- Break down lunch line at end of the day
- Cashier for lunch
- Collect deposits
- Have steam tables ready to go
- Inform Food Service Site Manager what products or supplies need to be ordered
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain daily usage sheets, salad bar log, and temperature log
- Prepare and refill food items as assigned for lunch lines
- Restock salad bar as needed
- Serve food items to students and faculty
- Set up terminals
- Wash all work surfaces with sanitizing solution
- Wipe off lunch room tables as needed
- Assist in providing an orderly, healthy, and enjoyable environment
- Attend in-service meetings as requested
- Promote and maintain a positive environment
- Promote school lunch program
- Sweep as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work in extreme temperature changes
- Knowledge of basic food service
- Ability to handle multiple food service tasks
- Interpersonal skills – ability to relate to children in a caring manner
- Planning and organizational skills
- Team player/flexible
- Ability to handle money
