PT/Seasonal (6:30-1:30 p.m.) for O'Gorman Jr. High School

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with baking as needed
• Assist with receiving
• Assist with setting up lunch lines
• Break down line at end of the day
• Complete temperature logs
• Have steam tables ready to go
• Help tray and prep food for the next day
• Inform Food Service Site Manager what products or supplies need to be ordered
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Maintain daily usage sheets
• Prepare and refill food items as assigned for lunch lines
• Prepare breakfast entrees as needed
• Prepare foods and load food into carts to be sent to Elementary sites
• Prepare food items, as assigned, for Jr. High lunch lines
• Restock salad bar as needed
• Serve food to students and faculty
• Wash all work surfaces with sanitizing solutions
• Assist in providing an orderly, healthy, and enjoyable environment
• Attend in-service meetings and/or food service classes
• Promote and maintain a positive environment
• Promote school lunch programs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of basic food service
• Ability to work in extreme temperature changes
• Ability to handle multiple food service tasks
• Interpersonal skills – ability to relate to children in a caring manner
• Planning and organizational skills
• Team player/flexible
