PT/Seasonal (6:30-1:30 p.m.) for O'Gorman Jr. High School
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with baking as needed
- Assist with receiving
- Assist with setting up lunch lines
- Break down line at end of the day
- Complete temperature logs
- Have steam tables ready to go
- Help tray and prep food for the next day
- Inform Food Service Site Manager what products or supplies need to be ordered
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain daily usage sheets
- Prepare and refill food items as assigned for lunch lines
- Prepare breakfast entrees as needed
- Prepare foods and load food into carts to be sent to Elementary sites
- Prepare food items, as assigned, for Jr. High lunch lines
- Restock salad bar as needed
- Serve food to students and faculty
- Wash all work surfaces with sanitizing solutions
- Assist in providing an orderly, healthy, and enjoyable environment
- Attend in-service meetings and/or food service classes
- Promote and maintain a positive environment
- Promote school lunch programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of basic food service
- Ability to work in extreme temperature changes
- Ability to handle multiple food service tasks
- Interpersonal skills – ability to relate to children in a caring manner
- Planning and organizational skills
- Team player/flexible
