PT/Seasonal (10:45-1:15 p.m.) for St. Mary School
Assists in providing food to the students/staff and maintaining the kitchen and cafeteria.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food on site as needed
- Serve food to students/staff
- Assist students with trays, milk, silverware, etc.
- Able to do daily lunch check off lists and adjustments
- Dishwasher operation, maintenance, bleach & chemicals
- Clean lunchroom between serving groups
- Clean kitchen area, utensil, pans, etc.
- Clean cafeteria, tables, trays, etc.
- Restock supplies
- Assist in providing an orderly, healthy and enjoyable environment
- Promote school lunch programs
- Promote and maintain a positive environment
- Meet State & Federal Guidelines for food safety, preparation, etc.
- Attend in-service meetings and/or food service classes
- Various additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic food service
- Ability to handle multiple food service tasks
- Ability to work in extreme temperature changes
- Interpersonal skills – ability to relate to children in a caring manner
- Planning and organizational skills
- Team player/flexible
