PT/Seasonal (10:45-1:15 p.m.) for St. Mary School

Assists in providing food to the students/staff and maintaining the kitchen and cafeteria.

 Responsibilities:

• Prepare food on site as needed
• Serve food to students/staff
• Assist students with trays, milk, silverware, etc.
• Able to do daily lunch check off lists and adjustments
• Dishwasher operation, maintenance, bleach & chemicals
• Clean lunchroom between serving groups
• Clean kitchen area, utensil, pans, etc.
• Clean cafeteria, tables, trays, etc.
• Restock supplies
• Assist in providing an orderly, healthy and enjoyable environment
• Promote school lunch programs
• Promote and maintain a positive environment
• Meet State & Federal Guidelines for food safety, preparation, etc.
• Attend in-service meetings and/or food service classes
• Various additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic food service
• Ability to handle multiple food service tasks
• Ability to work in extreme temperature changes
• Interpersonal skills – ability to relate to children in a caring manner
• Planning and organizational skills
• Team player/flexible
