Instruct elementary vocal music

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grades K-6:  Plan and implement effective lesson plans according to the curriculum
• Maintain a manageable classroom environment
• Christmas Sing a long
• Talent Show
• Weekly Mass
• Mass practice- liturgical, morning
• Plan and accompany the weekly school Mass, with all school liturgical music rehearsals scheduled regularly
• Direct a Christmas and Spring program
• Direct a school talent show
• Direct the choir, including rehearsals and performances

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in music education
• Piano proficiency and/or other instruments
• General understanding of Catholic liturgy of the Mass
• Organizational skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
